- W2001898587 abstract "Abstract In this report, a facile and low cost radio frequency chemical vapor synthesis (RF-CVS) method was used for large scale synthesis of urchin like Li doped ZnO (Li-ZnO) using Li–Zn alloy as both Li source and Zn source. The structure and morphology of Li-ZnO were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). The chemical state of Li was characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). These results confirmed that Li was successfully doped into ZnO lattice. The method was also promising for large scale synthesis of other elements doped ZnO. The Li doping induced dramatic changes of the optical property of ZnO. In liquid nitrogen, undoped ZnO showed green emission but Li-ZnO showed yellow emission, this can be easily recognized with naked eye." @default.
