- W2002355202 abstract "We present results on the joint density-matrix elements for ${K}^{ensuremath{-}}pensuremath{rightarrow}(ensuremath{omega}, ensuremath{varphi})ensuremath{Lambda}$ and compare them with the newly obtained values for ${ensuremath{pi}}^{ensuremath{-}}pensuremath{rightarrow}{K}^{*0}ensuremath{Lambda}$. We use the joint density-matrix elements together with the polarization to isolate various interferences between amplitudes with definite $t$-channel quantum numbers. We find large interferences between natural-parity amplitudes (${K}^{**}$, ${K}^{*}$) and sizeable interferences between unnatural-parity amplitudes ($K$, ${K}_{A}$). We present a five-effective-pole (${K}^{**}$, ${K}^{*}$, $K$, ${K}_{B}$, ${K}_{A}$) fit with SU(3) to the eight reactions ${K}^{ensuremath{-}}pensuremath{rightarrow}(ensuremath{rho}, ensuremath{omega}, ensuremath{varphi})(ensuremath{Lambda}, {ensuremath{Sigma}}^{0})$ and ${ensuremath{pi}}^{ensuremath{-}}pensuremath{rightarrow}{K}^{*0}(ensuremath{Lambda}, {ensuremath{Sigma}}^{0})$. The solution gives a good fit to the data for all eight reactions including the joint density-matrix elements. The values of $frac{F}{D}$ determined from this fit are consistent with values determined in other analyses. Quite apart from the details of any exchange model we find the data on vector-meson production with hypercharge exchange to be in good agreement with quark-model predictions." @default.
