- W2003018509 abstract "Absorption properties are investigated of low pressure chemical vapor deposition (LPCVD) a-Si : H by using different techniques as ordinary optical spectroscopy, for the above band-gap transitions, photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS) in the sub-band-gap range, and constant photocurrent method (CPM) in both regions. As expected, different values of density of states are obtained by means of CPM and PAS. It is shown that, besides different sensitivity to surface states, this difference can reveal inhomogeneities in the material along the growth axis. A simple model is applied to LPCVD a-Si: H samples and the result suggests that the growth kinetics could change during the film deposition. Es werden die Absorptionseigenschaften von a-Si: H nach der Niederdruckabscheidung aus der Dampfphase (LPCVD) mit verschiedenen Techniken untersucht, wie normale optische Spektroskopie für die Bandlückenübergänge, photoakustische Spektroskopie (PAS) im Bereich unterhalb der Bandlücke, sowie der Methode des konstanten Photostroms (CPM) in beiden Bereichen. Wie erwartet, werden unterschiedliche Werte für die Zustandsdichte mittels CPM und PAS erhalten. Es wird gezeigt, daß neben unterschiedlicher Empfindlichkeit gegenüber Oberflächenzuständen, diese Differenz Inhomogenitäten im Material in Richtung der Wachstumsachse aufdecken kann. Ein einfaches Modell wird auf LPCVD-a-Si: H-Proben angewendet und die Ergebnisse zeigen, daß sich die Wachstumskinetik während der Abscheidung der Schicht ändern kann." @default.
