- W2003276355 abstract "Regular nitrogen-doped BaTiO3 particles were synthesized by urea addition solid state sintering method. Compared with the undoped samples, the N-doped photocatalyst shows improved activities of photodegradation to Rhodamine-B under visible light irradiation (420 nm < λ < 780 nm). The obviously increased performance of N-doped BaTiO3 is mainly ascribed to the broadening of valence band (VB) width. Based on the analysis of absorption spectra and the illustration of photocatalytic role for N-doped BaTiO3, nitrogen dopants and oxygen vacancies are both responsible for the improved photocatalytic activities." @default.
