It involves simultaneous modulation of the magnetic field and the radiofrequency. Nuclear Zeeman correlated ENDOR allows each transition to be assigned to the corresponding type of nucleus. Furthermore, this technique often leads to a drastic reduction of the number of transitions in complicated spectra. The theoretical background of the method is developed for Lorentzian ENDOR and Gaussian EPR lineshapes. Nuclear Zeeman correlated ENDOR spectra of two copper complexes containing both nitrogens and protons are presented. Finally, the technique is compared with other ENDOR methods, which, in principle, also allow the identification of nuclear species." @default.
