- W2004669594 abstract "It is shown that the multiperipheral resonance production model, which was originally proposed to test symmetries and duality, can be made a realistic model for multiparticles production by incorporating production of pseudoscalar, axial-vector, and scalar mesons in addition to vector and tensor mesons. With some symmetry assumptions, we determine the coupling strengths of produced mesons to exchanged Reggeons from data of inclusive cross section of rho/sup 0/ and f production. We also obtain the relative weight of resonance multiplets to the inclusive pion production cross section. The coupling strengths thus obtained are used to test the consistency relation between two-body scattering and multiparticle production reactions in the unitarization scheme combined with duality." @default.
