However, in all cases the coefficient of the Warburg impedance is much higher than the theoretical value. This fact is interpreted in terms of the surface oxidation of the electrode. The adjustment of an equivalent circuit may be improved by considering the admittance due to electrode reactions at the oxidized part of the surface. The values of the exchange current j 0 , obtained from electrode impedance measurements, show that system Cl 2 /Cl − is more irreversible than system Br 2 /Br − for the same experimental conditions. Un circuit de Randles a été considéré comme expliquant en première approximation l'impédance en courant alternatif d'une électrode Pt dans le système Cl 2 Cl − (HClO 4Aq. ). Cependant le coefficient de l'impedance de Warburg est dans tous les cas bien supérieur à la valeur théorique. Ceci est interprété en termes d'oxydation superficielle de l'électrode. L'ajustement d'un circuit équivalent peut être essayé en tenant compte de l'admittnace dûe aux réactions d'électrode sur la partie oxydée de sa surface. Le courant d'échange j 0 obtenu par mesures d'impédance dénote un système Cl 2 /Cl − moins réversible que le système Br 2 /Br − dans les mêmes conditions experimentales. Ein Schaltbild nach Randles wurde als erste Annäherung verwendet, um den Wechselstromwiderstand einer Platin-Elektrode im System Cl 2 /Cl, (HClO 4Aq ) zu erklären. In allen Fällen war jedoch der Koefficient der Warburg'schen Impedanz viel grösser als der theoretische Wert. Diese Tatsache wird mittels einer oberflächlichen Oxidation der Elektrode gedeutet. Die Anpassung des Ersatzschaltbildes kann durch Berücksichtigung der Impedanz verbessert werden, welche durch die Elektrodenreaktionen an den oxidierten Teilen der Oberfläche bedingt ist. Die sich aus den Impedanzmessungen ergebenden Werte der Austauschstromdichte j 0 zeigen, dass das System Cl 2 /Cl′ irreversibler ist als das System Br 2 /Br′ unter denselben Versuchsbedingungen." @default.
