Self-healing distribution network has been raised as one of the most emerging and significant characters for such smart distribution system to cope with all kinds of threatens from inside and outside of the system. Self-healing is the trends for all kinds of high efficient, clean and flexible distribution system. However, self-healing distribution system is composed of complex system and different kinds of technologies. It is necessary to build up the technologies framework for self-healing system which will give better understand and application for both scientific research and actually projects. In this article, we research on the function of self-healing distribution system. A framework of technologies is proposed to meet the requirement of applicable self-healing distribution network. Then the framework is divided into three dimensions include technology dimension, temporal dimension and function dimension. Finally, the key issues in the technology for a smart self-healing distribution system are investigated on. The framework proposed in this assay is useful to guide research and technology management in actual self-healing projects." @default.
