- W2005332383 abstract "Extracts from the dried and ground fungus were prepared with water and with 30%, 60% and 85% ethanol, and thickened in vacuum. The whole fungus and extracts were added to the hyperlipemizing diet in amounts equivalent to 3% of the whole fungus. After 6 weeks the whole fungus, its water as well as 30% and 60% ethanol extracts have significantly reduced the contents of cholesterol (C) and triacylglycerols (TG) in the serum. The C and TG contents of the liver were reduced by 34–48% (in the case of TG insignificantly when applying the water and 60% ethanol extracts). The 85% ethanol extracts reduced the C and TG levels in both serum and liver statistically insignificantly by 18–22%. The reduction of serum C by addition of the whole fungus and its water and 30% ethanol extract was decisively affected by the reduction in the C contents in the very low density fraction of lipoproteins. Einfluß von wäßrigen und ethanolischen Extrakten des Austernseitlings (Pleurotus ostreatus) auf die Serum- und Leberlipide des syrischen Hamsters Vom getrockneten und gemahlenen Pilz wurden wäßrige und ethanolische (30-, 60- und 85%ig) Extrakte hergestellt und im Vakuum eingedickt. Einer Hyperlipämie erzeugenden Diät wurden vom Gesamtpilz und von den Extrakten Mengen zugesetzt, die 3% des Gesamtpilzes entsprachen. Nach 6 Wochen haben Gesamtpilz, wäßriger Extrakt und die 30- und 60%ig-ethanolischen Extrakte die Gehalte an Cholesterol (C) und Triacylglyceriden (TG) im Serum signifikant erniedrigt. Die C- und TG-Gehalte der Leber waren um 34–48% reduziert (im Falle der TG nichtsignifikant bei Gabe des wäßrigen und des 60%ig-ethanolischen Extraktes). Die 85%ig-ethanolischen Extrakte reduzierten die C- und TG-Gehalte in Serum und Leber nichtsignifikant um 18–22%. Die Reduktion des Serum-C durch Zusatz von Gesamtpilz, des wäßrigen und des 30%ig-ethanolischen Extraktes wurde entscheidend hervorgerufen durch die Reduktion des C-Gehaltes der VLDL-Fraktion des Lipoproteins." @default.
