The generalization allows us to include popular estimators such as the least squares and least absolute deviations estimators but by itself does not give bounded influence estimators. Adding weights results in estimators with bounded influence function. We establish conditions needed for the consistency and asymptotic normality of the proposed estimator and discuss how weight functions can be chosen to achieve bounded influence function of the estimator. Real life examples and Monte Carlo simulation experiments demonstrate the robustness and efficiency of the proposed estimator. An example shows that the weighted signed-rank estimator can be useful to detect outliers in nonlinear regression. Cette généralisation nous permet d'inclure les estimateurs populaires tels que les estimateurs des moindres carrés et des moindres déviations absolues, mais qui, par eux-mêmes, ne conduisent pas à des estimateurs ayant une fonction d'influence bornée. À l'aide d'une fonction de pondération, nous obtenons des estimateurs ayant une fonction d'influence bornée. Nous donnons des conditions nécessaires pour obtenir la cohérence et la normalité asymptotique de l'estimateur proposé et nous discutons du choix des fonctions de poids permettant à l'estimateur d'avoir une fonction d'influence bornée. Des exemples basés sur des données réelles et simulées établissent la robustesse et l'efficacité de l'estimateur proposé. Un exemple illustre que l'estimateur basé sur les rangs signés pondérés peut être utile pour détecter les valeurs aberrantes en régression non linéaire.
