Based on an analysis of these results, it is illustrated that the existing frameworks originally developed for Newtonian fluid flow through beds of spherical particles are also satisfactory for power law fluid flow through beds of non-spherical particles, provided a volume equivalent diameter modified by a sphericity factor and a modified Reynolds number are used instead of their usual definitions. On présente un grand nombre de mesures de la perte de charge dans des lits fixes, de la vitesse minimum de fluidisation ainsi que des caractéristiques d'expansion pour des lits de particles non sphériques dans les gammes de conditions suivantes: 10-3 ≤ Re ≤20; 0,66 ≤ η ≤ 1 et 0,41 ≤ ϵ ≤ 0,75. En se basant sur une analyse de ces résultats, on montre que les cadres de travail existants mis au point à l'origine pour l'écoulement des fluides newtoniens à l'intérieur de lits de particules sphériques, sont également satisfaisants pour l'écoulement des fluides de la loi de puissance dans des lits de particules non sphériques, si on utilise un diamétre èquivalent de volume modifié par un facteur de sphéricité et un nombre de Reynolds modifié au lieu de leurs définitions habituelles." @default.
