Significant depletion of the fungal population on seeds was noted with irradiation at 1–2 kGy, while complete inhibition of the contaminating fungi was observed above 4 kGy. Though the germinating potential of the treated grains did not alter significantly, loss in membrane permeability of the exposed seeds was significant." @default.
