Hutchings, J. B. ; Crampton, D. ; Cowley, A. P. Abstract High resolution Imager X-ray pictures from the Einstein Observatory identify the two pulsars optically with Hen 715 and a 12m reddened B1 supergiant, respectively. Optical spectroscopic data are discussed for each object. Hen 715 is a main-sequence B0 star whose properties are consistent with the 188-day X-ray binary period proposed by Watson et al. (1981). However, no optical periodicity is evident. The reddened B star is also likely to have the long binary period implied by X-ray pulse timing. Pulse arrival times are given for each object, and distance and LX/L sub opt values are discussed. Optical nebulosity is seen in the position of extended X-ray luminosity in the region, reported by Lamb et al. (1980).
