It is shown that it is not possible to obtain a coherent understanding of the scattering at 310 Mev without including an increase of the radius due to nuclear forces. The increase required is in rough agreement with that calculated from nucleon-nucleon scattering.At 135 Mev, where more complete data are available, it is shown that this increase is not sufficient to obtain a coherent understanding. Either approximations break down, or there is a difference in the scattering of neutrons and protons in addition to the Coulomb forces.
