On observe un ralentissement de la migration des lacunes, qui résulte de leur piégeage sur les interstitiels de carbone; cet effet est en désaccord quantitatif avec le modèle de Lomer; il est, par contre, très bien décrit par un modèle qui tient compte de l'interaction simultanée des lacunes avec plusieurs atomes de carbone (énergie de liaison de 0,35 eV). On montre aussi que l'énergie d'interaction entre deux interstitiels de carbone est inférieure à 0,02 eV. The annealing of quenched-in vacancies is studied in a Ni-20 at% Fe alloy, which contains carbon in interstitial solid solution. This investigation is made by following the establishment of directional order, using magnetic anisotropy measurements. The vacancy mobility is apparently reduced because of trapping by carbon interstitials. Quantitatively, this effect is in disagreement with Lomer's model; in contrast, it is in good agreement with a model which takes into account the simultaneous interactions between vacancies and several carbon atoms (binding energy of 0.35 eV). It is also shown that the energy of interaction between two carbon interstitials is less than 0.02 eV." @default.
