Ein Ursprung aus parathyreoidem oder chemorezeptivem Gewebe erscheint dagegen nicht ausreichend gesichert. Summary Heart-base tumours in the dog A total of 80 heart-base tumours have been recorded in the literature. In 20 cases the authors had considered them to have originated from thyroid tissue, 5 from aberrent parathyroid tissue and 55 from aortic chemoreceptors. When account is taken of their localisation, macroscopic and histological structure and their action on the host it seems likely that the heart-base tumours in the dog so far discussed, as well as six new cases studied by the author, have their histogenesis from the thyroid. The existence of tumours arising from parathyroid or chemoreceptic tissues has not been sufficiently established. Résumé Les tumeurs de la base du coeur chez le chien Dans la littérature on compte 80 cas de tumeurs de la base du coeur. Dans 20 cas les auteurs qui les décrivent supposent une origine thyroïdienne, tandis que 5 fois, ce sont des tissus parathyroïdiens aberrants et 55 fois les chimiorécepteurs de l'aorte qui sont nommés comme étant à l'origine des tumeurs. En tenant compte de la localisation, de l'aspect macroscopique et histologique, ainsi que d'après leur action sur l'organisme on est en droit d'admettre que tous les cas de tumeurs de la base du coeur décrits jusqu'ici chez le chien, ainsi que six cas étudiés par l'auteur sont dérivés histogénétiquement de germes thyroïdiens. L'existence de tumeurs d'origine parathyroïdienne ou issues des chimiorécepteurs ne semble pas suffisamment démontrée. Resumen Tumores en la base cardíaca del perro De la bibliografía se recopilan 80 tumores en la base cardíaca del perro. En 20 casos, los autores respectivos suponen el origen a partir de tejido tiroideo, mientras que en cinco ocasiones se citan los gérmenes de corpúsculos epiteliales desplazados y 55 veces los corpúsculos aórticos como punto de partida de la formación tumoral. En virtud de la localización, la forma de crecimiento, macroscópica e histológica, de los tumores, así como sus repercusiones sobre el organismo huésped, se puede admitir que todos los tumores en la base cardíaca en perros descritos hasta la fecha, al igual que 6 casos estudiados por nosotros, deben derivarse histogenéticamente de los gérmenes tiroideos.
