A mathematical model has been developed to trace the evolution of 80 different chemical species involved in 157 chemical reactions relevant to the above transformation. In slightly polluted tropospheric air 33% of SO2 is converted into H2SO4 over a period of 24 h. About 8.6% of the H2SO4 thus created may result of the action of alkenes, by the way of their Criegee intermediates, if the alkene concentration is equal or superior to 10 ppbv. Modifications introduced by different polluting conditions are considered. Le présent article concerne une simulation des différentes réactions chimiques qui conduisent à l'oxydation du SO2 en H2SO4. Le modèle mathématique utilisé trace l'évolution de 80 espèces chimiques, soumises à 157 réactions. Dans l'air troposphèrique peu pollué 33% du SO2 est transformé en H2SO4 durant un temps total de 24 heures. Un maximum de 8.6% du H2SO4 ainsi créé peut résulter de l'action des alcènes, si la concentration de ces derniers est égale ou supérieure à 10 ppbv.
