- W2008502085 abstract "The low temperature ac susceptibility and specific heat of the diluted magnetic semiconductor Zn1−xMnxS has been measured for Mn concentrations below x = 0.10. A paramagnetic to spinglass transition has been observed for all concentrations. The concentration dependence of the freezing temperature, TF(x), is compatible with a radial decay of the antiferromagnetic d-d interaction of the type J(R) ∼ R−7.6. The magnetic contribution to the specific heat can be described in the pair-approximation using JNN/kB = −16 K for the nearest neighbor and J(R)/kB = −10R−7.6 K for the long range part of the interaction. For these parameters also a fair agreement with reported high-field magnetization and high temperature susceptibility data can be obtained." @default.
