- W2008671418 abstract "Photodissociation spectra of (N2H4)n clusters from the dimer to the hexamer have been measured near the monomer frequencies of the ν12 mode at 937 cm−1 (NH2 wag) and the ν5 mode at 1098 cm−1 (N-N stretch). The clusters are size-selected by the combination of a scattering process with a He beam and a quadrupole mass spectrometer. Large blue-shifts and broad linewidths characterize each cluster spectrum for the NH2 wagging mode. The spectrum of cold dimers shows two peaks at 979 and 985 cm−1. The trimer spectrum is again split into two parts centered around 991 and 1025.2 cm−1. This trend is continued for n=4, 5, and 6 for which two peaks are observed around 1025 and 1048 cm−1." @default.
