It appears that the exchange interactions within binuclear entities (Cr2O10)14- play a major role for both compounds. These interactions being described on the basis of HDVV model, the experimental data are in good agreement with the predictions if we take for the exchange constants of TeCr2O6 and WCr2O6, J=-33.2 K and J=-44.5 K, respectively.
