- W2009017873 abstract "The 45Sc(3He, d)46Ti and 47Ti(3He, α)46Ti reactions have been studied with 15 MeV 3He2+ ions using a broad-range magnetic spectrograph. Deuteron angular distributions were measured between 7° and 60° for transitions leading to 106 states up to 11.4 MeV excitation energy in 46Ti. With the aid of distorted waves calculations, proton orbital angular momentum transfers and spectroscopic strengths have been obtained for states up to 7.6 MeV. Transitions to more than 30 states up to 11 MeV excitation in 46Ti were also found in the (3He, α) reaction study, but no ground state transition was observed. Four excited states in 46Ti have been identified in both reactions as probable isobaric analog states from which the Coulomb displacement energy for the 46Sc-46Ti pair is calculated to be 7.61±0.03 MeV." @default.
