- W2009136176 abstract "In the gasification reactor injecting air, the reaction takes place in two steps, the first one being true pyrolysis and the second one being the gasification step. The objective of this study is to estimate experimentally the distribution of gasification products such as condensed and noncondensed fuel, inorganic gas, and residue generated from the field‐scale gasification incinerator connected directly with batch type gasifier of waste tires. In the field‐scale gasification process, greater portion of oil(200–300 mg oil/Nm3) is produced at the beginning of the gasification process and it is controlled by initial pyrolysis reaction. A greater amount of noncondensed fuel is produced in the middle of the gasification process. The hydrocarbon distribution of the condensable product consists of various aromatic compounds such as naphthalene, 1‐limonene, methylbenzene etc. Zinc content in ash is the highest with the exception of iron, and Si, Al, Ca, Cu, Ni, S, and Cd are also observed. Also, toxic organic compounds such as polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and other organics are contained in the bottom and fly ash." @default.
