- W2009349507 abstract "We have performed magneto-resistance and far-infra-red magneto-transmission experiments on accumulation layers at anodic oxide films on cadmium mercury telluride. The magneto-resistance measurements in parallel field demonstrate the existence of extra sub-bands previously unobserved in samples with ns ∼ 1012 cm−2. In the magneto-transmission experiments, polaron coupled cyclotron resonances due to the occupied sub-bands are observed, and the tilted field results show pseudo 3D behaviour and depopulation effects due to the component of magnetic field in the accumulation layer. In tilted fields the cyclotron masses are found to change significantly on reversing the magnetic field when using circularly polarised radiation. This effect is thought to be due to carriers performing skipping orbits." @default.
