At these photon energies the doubly excited Q1 and Q2 states are energetically accessible and lie within the Franck-Condon absorption range. For electron energies greater than ~6 eV, the β parameter oscillates strongly, mainly due to interferences in autoionization decay of the Q1 1Σu+ and Q2 1Πu doubly excited states.
