- W2009496186 abstract "Abstract The efficiency of photoelectron ejection from the reduced form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) in aqueous solution of pH 8.6 was studied as a function of the laser energy by measuring the transient eaq− absorption appearing on nanosecond laser excitation at 355 nm. It was found that this process is due exclusively to consecutive two-photon excitation at the laser energies used. Saturation effects were observed at the higher energies: their origin was discussed. The saturation probably accounts for the results of a recent picosecond study of NADH which seemed to indicate the existence of a monophotonic electron ejection of high quantum yield." @default.
