- W2009547667 abstract "The influence of alkaline fluorides on the clinker burning temperature and its properties is described. Three different raw meals were used and were burned with 1% of these fluorides. The resulting clinker was analyzed for the content of free lime and X-ray diffraction analysis was done. Some of the clinker material was crushed and polished, and quantitative point counting was performed to provide the content of the different clinker phases. X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy was used to determine the clinker's chemical composition. These samples were also analyzed by means of a scanning electron microscope connected with an energy-dispersive X-ray-spectrometer to detect the composition of the clinker phase. Physical and mechanical properties of some samples were determined. The results show that the addition of 1% of these fluorides to the clinker raw meal induced a decrease in the burning temperature, while improving the clinker phase formation and its hydraulic properties. Trois mélanges crus sont cuits avec 1% de ces fluorures. Les clinkers résultants sont analysés pour déterminer la teneur de la chaux libre. Certains échantillons du clinker sont broyés et polis, et la méthode de compte quantitatif des points est utilisée pour connaître la teneur des différentes phases du clinker. La fluorescence et la diffraction des rayons X sont employées pour étudier la composition chimique et la structure de ces clinkers.
