Some lines of Eu3+, Gd3+, and Tb3+ in La2O2S at short wavelengths were found to be quenched at 300 K. La2O2S appeared to be a more efficient host than Y2O2S and Gd2O2S for all the lanthanides. The background emission from non-doped oxysulfides was measured at 100 K. The background emission was much weaker than the fluorescence of lanthanide ions. Die optische Fluoreszenz von zehn dreiwertigen Lanthanid-Ionen, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er und Tm, in Y2O2S, La2O2S und Gd2O2S, wurde durch Röntgenstrahlenanregung bei 300 K gemessen. Es wurde gefunden, daß einige Linien von Eu3+, Gd3+ und Tb3+ in La2O2S bei kurzen Wellenlängen verschwinden. La2O2S scheint für alle diese Lanthaniden ein wirksameres Grundgitter als Y2O2S und Gd2O2S zu sein. Die Grundgitteremission von reinen Oxysulfiden wurde bei 100 K gemessen. Die Grundgitteremission war viel schwächer als die Fluoreszenz von Lanthanid-Ionen." @default.
