- W2010755010 abstract "The conductivity of the metallic glasses Cu44Ti56 and Cu39Zr61 has been measured as a function of the magnetic field (0–6 Tesla) at temperatures between 1.5 and 20 K. The results are compared quantitatively to the predictions of diagrammatic perturbation theories including contributions from quantum interference in the presence of spin orbit scattering, electron-electron interaction and superconducting fluctuations. Our conclusion is that in Cu39Zr61 (TC = 1.83 K) the magnetoconductivity Δσ is dominated by fluctuations (Aslamasov-Larkin and Maki-Thompson processes), whereas in Cu44Ti56 (TC ⪡ 1 K) Δσ (T,B) is essentially governed by quantum interference effects. However, for high magnetic fields and low temperatures the experimental results can not be accurately explained by existing perturbation theories." @default.
