- W2010755622 abstract "There have been many evaluation methods of asphalt anti-aging performance developed in the past decade, but they cannot reflect the dynamic decay characteristics during service life. In this paper, a new method and two parameters, aging degree ( AD ) and anti-aging index ( AAI ), are developed to quantitatively evaluate anti-aging performance of asphalt. According to aging simulation results indoor, the anti-performance differences of five asphalts and the aging state of recycled asphalt from the field pavement are analyzed. The results and analysis indicate that the evaluation method and parameters can be used to distinguish aging performance of different asphalts. Aging degree can help us evaluate aging level of asphalt with time, which can help predict the time of cracks in pavement because of asphalt aging. The anti-aging index reflects the anti-aging performance of asphalt itself, which offers a reference to aid in choosing asphalt for a project." @default.
