I see the latter, at the appropriate level, as being essential to the evolution of HTSC in these materials, and try to bring the above key works into alignment, not only with each other but with a wealth of related work. This is undertaken around a negative-U scenario that I have long advanced, a reassessment being advocated of the way in which the STM and angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) results are currently being interpreted in regard to the 'coherence peaks'." @default.
