- W2011809253 abstract "The radiative capture in the decay of Er165 was studied by means of scintillation spectrommetry. Both singles and KX-ray coincident internal bremsstrahlung spectra were measured. The results were compared to the theory of Glauber and Martin. The shape of the singles spectrum was fitted to the theoretical one by χ2 test and good agreement was obtained for the energy interval considered. The shape of the coincidence spectrum, corresponding to the radiative K capture alone, also agreed well with that predicted by the theory. The Q value deduced from both singles and coincidence experiments was Q = (371±6) keV. Upper limits for decay branching to the excited states of Ho165 were established. The half-life of Er165 was measured to be (10.39±0.07) h. The ft value for the ground state transition was deduced to be (4.33±0.17)×104 sec(log ft = 4.64±0.02). This value has been used in discussion of the effects of the pairing correlations of the superconductivity type on matrix elements in beta decay." @default.
