At 10°K, 12 eQVzz = 1.04mm/sec, θ = 5°, φ = 0° and η = 0 while at 9.7°K,12 eQVzz = −1.81mm/sec, θ = 90°, φ = 0° and η = 0. By 2°K,12 eQVzz = −2.67 mm/sec, θ = 90°, φ = 0 and η = 0.23. From a comparison with the isomorphous compound FeCr2O4 we deduce that the A-sites, which are occupied by Fe2+ions, distort tetragonally with c/a 1 below 10°K. We attribute the distortion to a static Jahn-Teller effect. Results are given for hyperfine fields, total spectrum shifts and the values of 12 eQVzz for several spectra collected between 2 and 40°K. Par une comparaison avec le composé spinelle FeCr2O4, on déduit que les sites A, occupé par les ions Fe2+, devient tétragonale avec c/a 1 lorsque la témperature décroit au-dessous de 10°K. Nous attributons la distorsion à un effet Jahn-Teller statique. Les résultats pour les champs hyperfines, déplacements isomeriques et valeurs de 12 eQVzz sont donnes pour plusieurs spectres obtenus entre 2 et 40°K." @default.
