Tyto nĂĄlezy podpořily dĹŻleĹžitost identifikace specifickĂ˝ch genetickĂ˝ch faktorĹŻ a screeningu osob s vysokĂ˝m rizikem v dĹŻsledku dědičnosti. DalĹĄĂ­ studie by pak měly zhodnotit přínos případnĂ˝ch screeningovĂ˝ch programĹŻ. VĂ˝znamnou příleĹžitostĂ­ v genetickĂŠm vĂ˝zkumu jsou pĂĄry monozygotnĂ­ch dvojčat, z nichĹž jen jedno mĂĄ určitĂŠ onemocněnĂ­. TakovĂ˝ vĂ˝zkum mĹŻĹže pomoci zhodnotit vĂ˝znam určitĂ˝ch prenatĂĄlnĂ­ch a postnatĂĄlnĂ­ch (epigenetickĂ˝ch, stochastickĂ˝ch) faktorĹŻ prostředĂ­ ve vĂ˝voji danĂŠho onemocněnĂ­. LongitudinĂĄlnĂ­ studie dvojčat představujĂ­ ideĂĄlnĂ­ model ke studiu epigenetickĂŠho driftu uvnitř pĂĄru (např. DNA metylace, modifikace histonĹŻ) během času. V budoucnosti by tyto studie dvojčat mohly pomoci rozplĂŠst epigenetickĂŠ změny spojenĂŠ s kardiovaskulĂĄrnĂ­mi biomarkery rizika onemocněnĂ­, coĹž by mohlo napomoci při identifikaci těch osob, kterĂŠ majĂ­ zvýťenĂŠ riziko pro budoucĂ­ kardiovaskulĂĄrnĂ­ onemocněnĂ­. JelikoĹž ve větĹĄině studiĂ­ dvojčat je zjiĹĄĹĽovĂĄn vĂ˝znamnĂ˝ vliv specifickĂ˝ch faktorĹŻ prostředĂ­, je i nadĂĄle dĹŻleĹžitĂ˝ tradičnĂ­ koncept deterministickĂŠ Ăşlohy modifikovatelnĂ˝ch faktorĹŻ prostředĂ­, jako je kouřenĂ­, nezdravĂĄ strava nebo omezenĂĄ fyzickĂĄ aktivita." @default.
