- W2012986529 abstract "This study aims to identify through an empirical study occurred as the adoption process of ITgovernance mechanisms in a public organization responsible for the system of sending and deliveringmail in Brazil. The sample was characterized as non-probabilistic. The design of the research was thecase study using two sources of evidences: an interview and analysis of eleven documents. Theresearch was cross-sectional, with guidance for inductive data analysis, and clusters of dimensions thatemerged from the data analyzed by the end of the evidence providing a framework for analyzing ITGovernance for the company in question. As a result it was observed that despite the company's effortsto adopt during the period from 2004 to 2008 IT Governance, it was evident that there was alignmentof IT with the business. The framework of analysis that was found in this research helped guideanalytic dimensions that allow understanding how the process occurred adoption of IT Governance." @default.
