- W2013449662 abstract "Oxidative dehydrogenation of ethanol to acetaldehyde was studied by use of a flow reactor in the temperature range 200-450°C over La1−x Srx FeO3 (x=O–1.0) and LaMeO3 (Me=Co,Mn,Ni and Fe). All the catalysts were found to be active in acetaldehyde formation but the complete oxidation of ethanol and acetaldehyde proceeded at both higher temperature and higher partial pressure. In the case of La1−x Srx FeO3 (x=O–1.0), the catalytic activity for acetaldehyde formation increased with x up to the maximum at x=0.2, then decreased at higher x values. The activity of LaMeO3 was in the following order: La-Co > La-Mn > La-Ni > La-Fe perovskite oxides. These results were discussed in relation to the measurement of kinetics." @default.
