• W2013656787 abstract "Abstract New product innovations are emerging in large numbers day by day, and constantly struggling for market acceptance. Various models have been constructed to explore the principles of innovation diffusion and market share at a certain point of time. Most of those models assume that the potential is dynamical and the price or advertising will affect either the diffusion rate or the market potential. However, few of them are on to the fact that the population is increasing and the members of two different colonies with different attitudes of risk and decisive patterns are transferring between each other. For example, with the improvement of people's living standard, more and more people have changed their roles to potential adopters of an innovation. Consequently, in this research, we concentrate on developing and analyzing a dynamical rate model for innovation diffusion with the influencing factors shown above. With the dynamics theory, it is shown that the numbers of the members will trend to a few fixed data through a stability analysis on the model whether the members move or not. At the same time, an empirical analysis has also been given with the data of telephone subscribers of urban and rural areas in China. The parameters of the model have been estimated on the basis of the historical data and numerical simulation has been carried out to show the diffusion process for telephone in China. Finally, a comparatively perfect conclusion is obtained." @default.
