By using the Lyapunov function approach, the sufficient condition for the existence of nonfragile robust finite-time<mml:math xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML id=M5><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mi>L</mml:mi><mml:mn>2</mml:mn></mml:msub></mml:mrow></mml:math>-<mml:math xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML id=M6><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mi>L</mml:mi><mml:mi>∞</mml:mi></mml:msub></mml:mrow></mml:math>controller is given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The finite-time controller is designed such that the resulting closed-loop system is finite-time bounded for all admissible uncertainties and satisfies the given<mml:math xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML id=M7><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mi>L</mml:mi><mml:mn>2</mml:mn></mml:msub></mml:mrow></mml:math>-<mml:math xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML id=M8><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mi>L</mml:mi><mml:mi>∞</mml:mi></mml:msub></mml:mrow></mml:math>control index.
