- W2014242045 abstract "シコリ発生牛における血液性状の特徴とシコリ発生との関連性を明らかにすることを目的とし，シコリ発生頻度の高い一農場で，ホルスタイン種去勢肥育牛67頭を用いてシコリ発生の有無による血液性状の違いを比較検討した．出荷時に採血を行い，枝肉格付時（格付検査）と枝肉分割時（部分肉検査）に発生の有無を調査した．発生牛の割合はそれぞれ22.4％，44.8％で，検査間に2倍の差があり，シコリを有する約3割のウシが格付検査時に非発生牛とされていた.部分肉検査での発生牛と非発生牛の血液性状比較の結果，ビタミンA，ビタミンE，BUN（血中尿素窒素），総コレステロール，トリグリセリド，GOT （グルタミン酸オキサロ酢酸トランスアミナーゼ），γ-GTP （γ-グルタミルトランスフェラーゼ），LDH（乳酸デヒドロゲナーゼ）およびCPK（クレアチンフォスフォキナーゼ）に有意差はなく，β-カロテンは11.5および14.1 μg/dL, アルブミンは3.51および3.64 g/dLでいずれも発生牛で有意に（P ＜ 0.01）低かった．また，この農場の牛群ではシコリ発生の有無に関わらず正常報告値と比べて，ビタミンA，Eは正常ではあるが低いこと，およびGOT，γ-GTPは正常であるが，CPKが異常に高いことが特徴的であった．以上より，この農場におけるシコリ発生の原因は，飼料由来抗酸化物質蓄積の多少の不足の可能性とともに，肝機能ではなく筋肉に異常をおよぼす飼養管理上の事情が関与している可能性が示唆された．" @default.
