- W2014337008 abstract "Abstract The negative magnetoresistance ( N.M.R. ) in compensated n type CdAs 2 with carrier density n = 1.7 10 17 cm −3 has been measured in the temperature range 4.2 K–11 K, in magnetic fields up to 1.5 tesla. Longitudinal and transverse magnetoresistance have similar behaviours. The experimental data have been analysed according to the Toyozawa model which suggests an additional scattering process of the carriers by localized magnetic moments 1 . Transverse magnetoresistance which is treated here has the behaviour of a system of paramagnetic spins. The variation of the N.M.R. versus magnetic field and temperature is quite well approximated by a Langevin function with an effective magnetic moment μ ★ = n μ B where μ B is the Bohr magneton and n = 8." @default.
