- W2015182870 abstract "We have studied the reversible relaxation which appears in a number of metallic glasses, when cycled thermally. More precisely, we have analysed the variations of their electrical resistance, measured at 4.2 K, after sequential isochronal treatments conducted between ambiant and crystallisation temperatures. Among the 15 alloys studied, it occurs that all the alloys with several metallic elements exhibit a distinct reversible effect. In the alloys made of a single metal and one or several metalloids, a reversible component exists only for certain compositions. The kinetics and structural aspects of these results are discussed in terms of compositional short range ordering. Nous avons étudié la relaxation réversible qui se manifeste dans de nombreux alliages métalliques amorphes, lorsqu'ils sont soumis à des cycles thermiques. Plus précisément nous avons analysé les variations de résistance électrique, mesurées à 4,2 K, au cours de séquences de traitements isochrones entre la température ambiante et celle de cristallisation. Parmi la quinzaine d'alliages étudiés, il apparait que tous les alliages qui comportent plusieurs éléments métalliques présentent un effet réversible marqué. Dans les alliages constitués d'un seul métal associé à un ou plusieurs métalloïdes, une composante réversible n'est détectée que pour certaines compositions. Ces résultats sont discutés dans leur aspect cinétique et structural en termes d'ordre chimique à courte distance. Wir haben die reversible Relaxation untersucht, die in einer Reihe von metallischen Gläsern bei zyklisch thermischer Belastung auftritt. Insbesondere wurden die Änderungen des elektrischen Widerstandes bei 4,2 K nach aufeinanderfolgenden isochronen Behandlungen zwischen Raumtemperatur und Kristallisationstemperatur gemessen. Unter den fünfzehn untersuchten Legierungen zeigen sämtliche Legierungen mit mehreren metallischen Elementen einen deutlichen reversiblen Effekt. In den Legierungen mit nur einem metallischen Element und einem oder mehreren Metalloiden findet sich eine reversible Komponente nur für gewisse Zusammensetzungen. Diese Ergebnisse werden im Hinblick auf Kinetik und Struktur anhand einer chemischen Nahordnung diskutiert." @default.
