- W2015403931 abstract "Matrix isolation IR spectroscopy has been used to isolate and investigate weak hydrogen bonded complexes formed between trichloromethane (CHCl3, CDCl3) and acetone and trimethylamine in solid argon at 20 K. The most essential changes are observed in the ν(CH) or ν(CD) stretching vibration regions of the spectra of the bonded trichloromethane. The shifts of the ν(CH) and ν(CD) modes for 1:1 complexes are: 38, 27 and 111 cm−1 for CHCl3(CD3)2CO, CDCl3(CH3)2CO and CDCl3N(CH3)3 complexes respectively. The results show that an influence exerted by the matrix cage is an important factor determining properties of the studied complexes." @default.
