- W2015824326 abstract "Since the primary PFC response to TNP-Ficoll, a thymus-independent type 2 antigen, displays an important variability in vivo among diverse inbred mouse strains, we used, in the present report, H-2 congenic strains possessing different genetic backgrounds to show that the amplitude of this response is governed by MHC genes, with one regulating locus situated in or near the centromeric part of the I-A subregion. In addition, this H-2 control was largely modulated by gene(s) located outside MHC and IgH haplotypes, as evidenced by the response of recombinant inbred strains (BXH) between the high responder C3H/HeJ and the low responder C57BL/6J. Our results are discussed in terms of humoral regulations and the requirement for self-recognition in cellular interactions which lead to activation of B lymphocytes in the in vivo primary response towards TI-2 antigens. Etant donné que le niveau—en PFC—de la réponse primaire, in vivo au TNP-Ficoll, antigène thymo-indépendant de classe 2, varie de façon importante entre diverses lignées murines, nous avons montré ici, en utilisant des souris congéniques au locus H-2 et possédant des fonds génétiques différents, que l'amplitude de cette réponse est contrôlée par des gènes du MHC, un locus régulateur étant plus précisément, situé dans la sous-région I-A ou près de celleci, du côté centromérique. Nous avons également montré, par l'examen des réponses de lignées, consanguines recombinantes entre la forte répondeuse C3H/HeJ et la faible répondeuse C57BL/6J, que ce contrôle par le locus H-2 est largement modulé par un ou plusieurs gène(s) localisé(s) en dehors des haplotypes MHC ou IgH. Nos résultats sont discutés en termes de régulations humorales et de nécessité d'une reconnaissance d'éléments du soi dans les interactions cellulaires qui conduisent à l'activation des lymphocytes B au cours de la réponse primaire in vivo aux antigènes TI-2." @default.
