The spontaneous emission probabilities for 4 F 3∕2 → 4 I 11∕2 and 4 F 3∕2 → 4 I 13∕2 transitions are severally 2542.4 and 456.9 s −1 , from which the associated maximum stimulatedemission cross sections have been determined to be 3.19×10 −20 and 1.28×10 cm 2 , respectively.
