- W2016091857 abstract "The knowledge of the thermal expansion coefficient enables to study the behavior of the thermal expansion of the materials, since each material reacts differently to a change in temperature. On the basis of the thermal expansion coefficient is possible to evaluate the impact of the thermal expansion of the volumetric measurement. This study aims to predict the thermal expansion coefficient of esters: ethyl butyrate, butyl butyrate, isoamyl butyrate and hexyl butyrate. For this purpose, there was a linear regression analysis of experimental data of density of each in a function of temperature. These values were found in another study. The thermal expansion coefficients for esters studied are 6.43 x 10 -4 K -1 (for ethyl butyrate), 7.45 x 10 -4 K -1 (for butyl butyrate), 7.83 x 10 -4 K -1 (for isoamyl butyrate) and 8.70 x 10 -4 K -1 (for hexyl butyrate). In all cases studied, the correlation coefficients were near to unit, classifying as very strong linear correlation." @default.
