- W2016338483 abstract "The composites based on conductive carbon black (CCB) and piezoelectric ceramic particles, PMN, and chlorobutyl rubber (CCB/PMN/IIR) were prepared by compounding and vulcanizing process. Microstructure, mechanical, dynamic mechanical and electrical properties of CCB/PMN/IIR with various CCB and PMN loading were measured by SEM, mechanical tests, and electrical analysis. The results show tensile properties decrease with increasing PMN loading, while showed a maximum value with CCB loading. Tanδmax increased and the glass transition broadened for composites with 50 wt% PMN and 25 wt% CCB. The electric resistance decreased with CCB loading. The piezoelectric damping theory was used to explain the experimental results. The three-phase composites with proper composition can be used as high damping polymer materials." @default.
