- W2016531050 abstract "This work focuses on the power line interference (PLI) rejection from surface EMG signal. It contains three parts: the algorithm, the experimental setting and the results. This study begins with describing the new technique, which consists in filtering respiratory surface electromyogram signals (EMG + PLI), then, becoming familiar with it. The proposed algorithm requires only one channel to both estimating the adaptive filter input reference noise and the EMG signal. The algorithm of PLI rejection has been organized into two steps. The first step insists to apply adaptive filter, especially the LMS one, in which the reference input is mathematically constructed using two different cosine functions; 50 Hz (the fundamental) function and 150 Hz (the first harmonic) function. Whereas, the second step applies the matching pursuit algorithm that uses the cosine packet dictionary to improve the result of PLI obtained at the first step. After trying statistical, as well as mathematical analysis, the complete investigation ensures that all details and steps make proof that our rigorous method is appropriate, we have also compared our method with the previous known techniques. Cet article traite du cas de la rejection des interférences électromagnétique (PLI) du signal électromyographique respiratoire de surface. Il intègre trois parties : l’algorithme, le mode opératoire et les résultats. Ce travail commence par décrire la nouvelle technique qui consiste a filtrer l’EMG respiratoire (EMG + PLI). L’algorithme adaptatif proposé ne demande pas d’électrodes supplémentaires pour la référence bruit. Ce dernier comporte deux étapes. La première étape est constituée d’un filtre adaptatif type LMS, la référence bruit de ce filtre est générée à l’aide de deux fonctions cosinus ; 50 Hz (le fondamental) et 150 Hz (le premier harmonique). La deuxième étape est constituée de l’algorithme matching pursuit, ce dernier sera appliqué sur le signal PLI obtenu à la première étape, dans le but d’améliorer l’estimation du PLI. L’algorithme matching pursuit sera appliqué avec un dictionnaire de cosinus locaux. L’analyse statistique et mathématique adoptées pour l’évaluation des résultats nous assurent du bien fondé de tous les détails et de toutes les étapes de la nouvelle méthode. Finalement, nous comparons les résultats de filtrage obtenus avec la nouvelle méthode à ceux obtenus avec d’autres techniques." @default.
