INFRATEC-Belt Reactor for Sludge Combustion and Reactivation of Active Carbon The INFRATEC-reactor is a reactor, heated by infrared, in which circles an endless, high heat resistant steel belt on which the material which is to be treated is led along under electrically heated infrared radiators. During this procedure it is exposed to drying, desorption, pyrolysis and combustion. The INFRATEC-reactor is used in the following fields: reactivation of active carbons, pyrolytic sludge treatment, sludge combustion, recalzination and further thermic processes.
