- W2017025993 abstract "Abstract Groups of rats were subjected to multiple ECS treatments administered via ear-clips (transpinnate) or electrode plugs (transcranially) in a stepdown or CER situation. Results indicate that in both behavioral situations ECS administered via ear clips or ear snaps result in the elaboration of a fear state, whereas ECS administered via electrode plugs prevented or delayed the onset of a fear state. In addition, fear behavior was displayed to specific stimuli immediately preceding the ECS treatment. A model is proposed to account for these results." @default.
