- W2017101019 abstract "The dissociation of N2O+ from the states reached by one-photon ionisation at 58.4 and 30.4 nm has been examined by photoelectron–photoion coincidence spectroscopy. At 30.4 nm, ions formed in some inner valence states dissociate rapidly enough to show a forward/backward asymmetry between the electron and fragment ion ejection directions. In the 19 to 20 eV energy region, the dissociation characteristics suggest the existence of an additional electronic state. The kinetic energy releases identify the final channels in dissociation from several states; the energy releases in N2+ formation from states in the inner valence region are consistent with known fluorescence emission from N2+ (B 2∑u+) fragments and suggest that emissions from N2+(A 2Πu) may also be present." @default.
