I. Tensor of the 31P Chemical Shift in K3Na(PO3F)231P MAS NMR spectra of polycrystalline monofluorophosphates are formed by the anisotropy of the 31P chemical shift tensor as well as by the anisotropy of the dipolar PF coupling. Using a modified HERZFELD-BERGER method the principal values of the chemical shift tensor and the dipolar coupling tensor are derived from the observed intensities of the rotation sidebands. Both tensors are axially symmetric, the symmetry axis coincides with the PF bond direction. This result agrees well with the structural data of K3Na(PO3F)2. Additionally, the extreme sensitivity of the 31P MAS NMR technique to prove small amounts of phosphate impurities is demonstrated." @default.
